The length of read is proportional to the quality of the DNA template and the efficiency of a particular primer. We cannot guarantee sequencing success without pre-checking DNA quality. Templates of a high standard, free from contaminants such as ethanol or salt, are required to achieve long read lengths with excellent base calling.

To assess the quality of your template we will use a state-of-the art QIAxcel^® multi-capillary electrophoresis system which performs fast, reliable and fully automated DNA fragment analysis between 15 bp and 5 kbp (see output results below). The same instrument can be employed to provide our customers with high throughput qualitative and quantitative RNA analysis.
